Statement of Faith

Katharsis believes in the one true God, the Alpha and the Omega,creator of all things from the beginning, now and forever.  His divine being was "the Word made flesh", incarnate in His only begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.  Only our Savior Christ lived a sinless life as the worthy sacrifice for our mortal sins.  Only He could purchase our eternal salvation through the boundless grace of God the Father.  To the Glory of God, upon our Messiah's resurrection, the Holy Spirit is breathed into those who accept Him as Lord and Savior, inviting Jesus to rule and reside within the heart.  We are His living church and His holy temple, having only to draw upon the Holy Spirit for strength, wisdom, and sanctification.   The body of Christ is present in our love, our fellowship, and our Holy Communion with other believers, wherein we share "one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all".
